AIDA Malaysia Freediving Championship (MFC) 2024

• Open to all nationalities.

• A minimum Pool Certification (of any system) is needed to participate in the event. 

• Athletes must be an active AIDA member and member of their respective AIDA national. (please refer to the following details for registration)

Important Notes

1. Athletes can choose to compete in up to any 3 disciplines.

2. The registration fee is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another athlete.

3. Registration will close on 5 November 2024, or earlier if all slots have been filled.

4. The organiser reserves the right to limit, accept or reject any entries without prior notice and reasons.

Competition Schedule

Day 1 - 9th November 2024

Morning session: STA/DYN/DYNB/DNF

Afternoon session: STA/DYN/DYNB/DNF

Day 2 - 10th November 2024

Morning session: STA/DYN/DYNB/DNF

Afternoon session: Prize Giving/ Closing Ceremony

11th November might be used as a replacement day if the weather on 9th or 10th is bad. 

Registration

Registration fees: MYR 550

includes pool admission and lunch on each event day

1. Fill up the registration form online here. Upon successful submission of the online registration, you will receive an email with payment instructions and the organizer's bank account details.

2. Complete the registration fee payment and submit the following documents to freedivingadventuremalaysia@gmail.com:

• Copy of your freediving certification

• Proof of current membership in your national AIDA organization*

• AIDA Medical Statement

  form signed by medical doctor

• Bank-generated receipt for registration fee payment

3. Finally, wait for the official confirmation email from the competition organizers verifying your registration is complete and you are registered for the event.​​

*To participate in an AIDA sanctioned competition, athlete must be a registered and active member of their respective local AIDA nationals.​

For Malaysian

1. Create an account on AIDA International: https://eos.aidainternational.org/Register

2. Register under AIDA Malaysia as a member. For AIDA Malaysia, the annual membership fee is MYR50.  Please fill up this form and email it together with your bank-in slip to myapneadiver@gmail.com. (Bank account details is attached in the form.)
