Arrival & Departure

Arrival in Malé (MLE)

  • Baggage tip for AirAsia travellers: Sports equipment is not required, regular checked baggage is sufficient.
     

  • Arrive before 12PM on your arrival day.
     

  • Arriving a day early? The vessel crew can arrange accommodation + airport transfers.
     

  • Meeting point: After baggage collection & customs clearance, meet at the exit door in the public area.
     

  • Alcohol cannot be brought into the Maldives.

Departure

  • Departure can be anytime after 10AM on departure day.
     

  • Airport transfer: Everyone will be dropped off at the airport around 7–8AM.
     

  • Alcohol purchased onboard must remain onboard and cannot be brought out of the boat.

Before You Go

Dive Insurance (mandatory)

  • You can consider DAN, a global diving insurance company that covers freediving.

  • Choose from Annual or Short-Term plans.

  • The Short-Term Plan is available for purchase 6 months prior to the trip. We’ll send the insurance options and purchase link around that time.

  • After purchasing, please send us your insurance details.

We recommend bringing enough USD cash for

  • Crew gratuities min. USD 80 (paid onboard)

  • Green tax USD 84 (paid onboard)

  • Starlink Wi-Fi USD 10 (amount covers 2 devices)

  • Alcohol purchases onboard

  • Pocket money for the last day Malé city walk

Food & Dietary Requirements

  • All food served onboard is Halal.

  • Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies before the trip.

Diving Equipment

  • Dive weights

  • Scuba wetsuits for rental *may not be necessary as the water temperature is similar to Malaysia / tropical waters.

Please bring your own

  • All necessary freediving equipment as we will not be bringing any.

  • Dive computer (mandatory for every dive)

LAST MINUTE SHOPPING?

We can pass your items to you at KLIA before luggage check-in if your order is placed at least 2 days before departure.
